The truth: We have A LOT going on. Taking time to choose foods that best support our physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being can seem overwhelming, complicated, and anti-social. However, in this moment, we have a crucial choice to make. We choose to eat well and live well, or we choose the contrary. I work with teens and young adults who choose to live better. We redefine healthy to create a lasting, positive relationship with food. Through yoga, meditation, and conscious conversation around food, I help awesome individuals to be their best selves by building the mindful capability to nourish their bodies, empower their spirit, and ultimately create a life they love.

I believe that to achieve optimal health, one must live in tune with mother earth. This includes eating a plant based diet, directly feeding radiance and vibrance into our cells.
Our health needs are so diverse. Health and wellness sessions support each individual’s journey and growth process with compassion and accountability. Sessions can meet in local cafes, at the grocery store or farmers market, or in the home.

Wellness Coaching 2.0
A Dinner Coaching Series
Wellness Coaching 2.0 is specifically catered to teens and adults who want continued and customized support to work through challenges in a relaxed, fun, and chic environment. Dinner coaching is designed to support participants in their food choices, thought processes, and accountability systems that will take them further along in their healthy journey.
This program meets twice per month at Plant, Food and Wine. Sessions are 2 hours each. Dinner is included.

Marissa received her Master of Education from The University of California at Santa Cruz, her Holistic Coaching Certification from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and her 200 hour yoga certification from Wanderlust Hollywood. She spent nine years teaching in diverse settings, from Los Angeles to Colombia. A former teacher and now passionate nutrition advocate, Marissa believes in the power of healing through food and lifestyle changes. She traveled the world immersing herself in the food, culture and healing of different communities. As Co-Creator and Health & Wellness Guru at It’s Possible Project, she works with teens to create a lasting, positive relationship with food.
Marissa believes that to make positive sustainable changes, it is essential to work with the body, the mind, and the spirit. She believes that mindfulness, gratitude, and self-empathy are the building blocks of confidence and capability.
